How it works
Botox® and Dysport® smooth frown lines and wrinkles by quieting or stilling the underlying facial muscles. This both reduces current lines, and prevents new ones! Every face is different, but typically a single treatment uses between 30-60 units of injectable. Most people notice the smoothing effect for 3-4 months post-treatment. And, our amazing nurse injectors are happy to speak with you several days to weeks after the treatment to ensure your desired effect was achieved.
Coke or Pepsi?
We offer you the choice of Botox® or Dysport®, two of the most well known neuromodulator injectables. Some women are happy with either brand, but others like one much better than the other. We suggest that at some point you try both to determine your personal favorite (only one product in a given treatment, of course)! Our certified nurse injectors can discuss each one and its benefits before you decide.
Emerging data
Studies are showing that treatment with injectables improves depression. No doubt, looking and feeling your best boosts mental health, but there are biological reasons, too. These are the Facial Feedback Hypothesis and subduing the amygdala. In short, FFH says that reduced frown lines and frown activity make your brain think its happier. And curtailing or subduing the amygdala means fewer reactive, negative emotions.
About Injectables
Hate those wrinkles on your forehead, between your eyebrows, and around your eyes? Then we have news for you! There is an FDA-approved treatment that smooths those out for a good 3 months. You'll look and feel more bright and refreshed! Who doesn't want that?!
Essentially, neuromodulator injectables (such as Botox® and Dysport®) are a way of keeping those muscles still and calm so they can't create more wrinkles. So in many ways, these injections are preventative as much as they are a treatment!
The specific facial site of the delivery, and how much treatment you want, is up to you in consult with our certified nurse injectors. Many women elect a full treatment every several months. Or maybe you want a quick touch up between the eyes so your frown isn't as fierce? There is a tiny little poke/pinching sensation each time the needle is injected (perhaps 4-5x per treatment session), but it is minimal. Most women don't even need or want ice, but we have the cutest little ice packs if you do!

Our standard pricing is is $12 per unit of Botox® or Botox-equivalent units (because it typically requires more units of Dysport® to achieve the same effect as Botox®). And if you paid an individual or party booking fee, we will apply that towards the cost of your treatment or service. Also, check out our price discounts for private parties!
