INSURANCE & PAYMENT
Insurance is confusing, and The Boob Bus tries to make this process simple. Most insurance companies will cover a screening mammogram each year if it is routine. This means there are no lumps, pain, or concerns that could signify a problem. If you have one of these concerns, speak with your doctor as you likely need a diagnostic exam.
However, each insurance plan is different. Some require that you are 40 years old, although there are exceptions. And in most cases, you need to use a facility that is "in network" or "contracted" with your insurance plan. Even in these cases, you may have a copay or deductible for visiting our mobile unit. Below are some details about The Boob Bus and its insurance network, and we are happy to answer questions over the phone to discuss your specific details!
The Boob Bus is in network/contracted with these plans. Depending on the exact procedure you choose as well as your deductible, you may receive a bill for a portion of the services.
